At the request of Andrew’s mother, I had the odd privileged to be a photographer at Grandpa’s (Andrew’s dad’s dad) funeral. Although many people would consider this odd, it was definitely a day to remember. Also with relatives in Taiwan that couldn’t come, Andrew’s mother wanted pictures to show and document to them the love people had for Grandpa – as shown through the people at the memorial – and the love the family had for grandpa – as shown through the tears.
It was definitely an eyeopener, especially as I’ve never been or was allowed to go to a funeral till now.
